Swiss Eco LIne

Preferred point of contact for all questions relating to the efficient and sustainable use of water, resources and energy

Focus on water cycle

The Swiss Eco Line is the preferred point of contact for all questions relating to the sustainable and efficient use of water in the entire water cycle.

Sales and development platform

Organised as a platform, Swiss Eco Line AG supports the development, distribution and sale of innovative, advanced and contemporary products and solutions that increase the quality and safety of water in use for various purposes, improve the efficiency of its adequate treatment and processing, and generally reduce the waste of water-related resources.

Cooperation in the ecosystem

Built as a joint venture of innovative and forward-thinking companies, the platform focuses on a holistic view of sustainability as well as economies of scale. The platform thus enables a one-stop shop for services related to the quality and sustainable use of water.

WORLDWIDE WATER CONSUMPTION

In view of the increasing water scarcity in many regions of the world, the enormous potential of groundwater and the need for its careful management can no longer be ignored.
(UN World Water Report 2022)

WATER CONSUMPTION BY COUNTRY

Water is one of the most precious commodities on earth. 97% of the available water is salt water, only 3% is fresh water. Of this, only 10% is available as drinking water. Water scarcity threatens economic as well as social achievements and is a potential social issue for conflicts that could be fought over water in the future.
It is important that we are all aware of how precious water is and how we can help to protect and conserve it. Every individual can contribute to conserving resources and ensuring sustainable use by using water consciously and sparingly.

Swiss Eco Tap

REDUCE WATER CONSUMPTION WITH SPRAY TECHNOLOGY

The Swiss Eco Tap – a water-saving cold water tap – can contribute to sustainability by reducing water consumption. A conventional tap uses about 12 to 15 litres of water per minute, while the Swiss Eco Tap can reduce consumption to less than 1 litre per minute. This means that more than 10 litres of water can be saved per minute when using the Swiss Eco Tap.
Saving water is not only good for the environment, but can also lead to cost savings as less water is used and therefore less waste water has to be disposed of.
A water-saving tap alone is not enough to ensure sustainable water consumption. It is also important to use water consciously and not waste it. For example, turning off the tap while brushing your teeth can help to further reduce water consumption and contribute to sustainability.

Another sustainability point is the saving of energy and CO2. The Swiss Eco Tap – an energy-saving cold water tap – does not provide hot water, which normally has to be heated to a higher temperature than cold water. This eliminates the production of hot water that often runs longer to reach the desired temperature. When the water runs for less time, less water is used. Thus, it leads to an overall significant saving of energy and water as well as a reduction of the carbon footprint.
